Heath’s Final Film is an Imaginarium Explosion

A very strange semi-teaser trailer for Terry Gilliam‘s latest film The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus has hit the web.

The two and a half mintue clip is led by Gilliam himself, who takes us through his incredible plans for his latest movie. Unfortunately, there is little footage from the actual film itself, and only a brief mention of Heath Ledger, in his final film performance.

Ledger’s untimely death came midway through filming Parnassus, leaving the film without a leading man. Gilliam decided to complete the film in Ledger’s honour, casting Colin Farrell, Jude Law and Johnny Depp as alternate versions of Ledger’s character Tony, while still including Ledger’s filmed scenes.

I’m not even going to attempt to explain the plot of this film, as it may literally blow your mind. So I’ll leave it to Mr Gilliam himself. Enjoy:
