The official one sheet for Pixar‘s next film Up has made its online debut. Isn’t it nice and blue?

Up tells the story of Carl Fredricksen, a 78-year-old man about to be moved into an assisted living home. Defiant to authority, he decides to fulfill a final promise he made to his late wife, and explore the mountains she always wanted to see. He teams up with a 8-year-old wilderness expert named Russell, and the two set off on a wild and terrifying adventure.
I think we’ve well and truly reached the point where Pixar can be trusted with anything. Those clever monkeys continue to make the best films of the 21st century. Are any of their films anything less than classic? Well, maybe Cars, but I have a couple of nephews who would disagree with that.
Check out the trailer below. It doesn’t really give away much, but gosh it looks pretty.

Up is directed by Pete Docter (Monsters Inc) and Bob Peterson (co-writer Finding Nemo). It will be released May, 2009, in 3D. Say what! Yes, that’s right, Pixar is going 3D.
Oh, and if you haven’t seen WALL-E yet, what is your problem?! Literally get up and go right now!
Omg, it looks so good! I want a job at Pixar. Too bad I’m in Sydney.PS. Cars was pretty bad out of the lot, I thought I was the only one who couldn’t finish it.
