Aussie starlet Rose Byrne has joined the cast of Nicholas Stoller‘s Get Him To The Greek, in which Russell Brand will reprise his role as rocker Aldous Snow from Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
The Judd Apatow produced flick also stars Jonah Hill as a record company intern charged with getting drug-addled rocker Snow from London to a gig at Los Angeles Greek Theater.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Byrne will play Snow’s ex-girlfriend, a Courtney Love-esque female rocker.
Taking the lead female role is Mad Men‘s Elisabeth Moss, who will play Hill’s repressed girlfriend. Sean (P. Diddy) Combs will play Hill’s boss.
Russell Brand had confirmed on his radio show that Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry and Pink all have cameos in the upcoming film.
The film is currently in production, and will complete filming in June. Get Him to the Greek has a projected release date of April 2010.
