20th Century Fox has announced that Robert Rodriguez will produce a new installment in the Predator franchise.
The film, titled”Predators”, the film will focus on a group of commandos who must face off against a whole bunch of the face-tentacled alien assassins.
The Desperado director was rumoured to have written a script for Predator 3 towards the beginning of the decade. If anyone has any details on his original story, please let us know in the comments section below.
The project is slated for release on July 7th, 2010. No director, writer or cast members are currently attached. UPDATE: Alex Litvak has since been announced as screenwriter. It is unsure whether he will be polishing Rodriguez’s previously existing screenplay, or starting from scratch.
