Avatar trailer debut! It’s actually here!

source: traileraddict.com

The trailer for James Cameron‘s long awaited sci-fi epic Avatar has debuted online – meaning that everyone going to see it on the big screen tomorrow will now be among the LAST in the world to see footage from the film!

This is killing me. I haven’t watched it yet and I don’t plan too until after seeing the 15-minute preview on the big screen. However, if you did NOT receive tickets to Avatar Day, then please feel free to enjoy the below trailer in all its (supposed) glory!

http://www.traileraddict.com/emd/13413 Well, how was it? No, don’t tell me! I mean, feel free to discuss it in the comments section below, but I certainly won’t join the conversation for another 24 hours or so.

Avatar stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver. It’s about a paraplegic and a bunch of blue alien hotties or something like that. I’m sure those of you who have actually seen the trailer know more about it than me at this point. The film hits cinemas December 17th.

Discuss: So, is this thing gonna be huge or what?

  1. hmmm, looks visually epic – I hope this has enough mass appeal to do what they keep saying it will…

  2. Awwww Crap!"TRAILER HAS BEEN PULLED TEMPORARILY AND WILL RETURN SOON!"It's OK Simon, you can come out now!

  3. It looks pretty good to me, though some people are giving it a bit of flack already. This site is drawing up a few comparisons between Avatar and another CG movie called "Delgo".Coincidence? or Cameron-Thievery? You decide!http://www.movieline.com/2009/08/the-7-eeriest-parallels-between-avatar-and-delgo.phpAQ

  4. Haha, you mean Delgo – the least successful wide-release film of all time? That's good news for Cameron and co 😉 They spent 10 years making Delgo aswell, but only because they could barely afford to finish it. When they started production, Freddie Prinze Jr was STILL FAMOUS!!!

  5. The very same!Poor Freddy Prinze Jr. He's this generation's Luke Perry.AQ

  6. Looks like a visually pleasing movie, but I don't see much in the way of plot. Not too interested, but I might check it out.

  7. Looks good, but…I am so sick of humanoid aliens. Do these designers have no imagination at all?

  8. Ok, finally watched the trailer having seen the full fifteen minutes of footage – and that teaser was totally underwhelming. Seriously, compared to the 3D stuff … yikes! Check out my full thoughts here:http://blog.quickflix.com.au/2009/08/avatar-experience-thoughts-on-avatar.html
