Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell as The Other Guys

The first images from the set of the Will Ferrell/Mark Wahlberg cop comedy The Other Guys have hit the interweb. Although they are not officially released stills from the production, they are mighty fine looking snaps.

We first reported on this movie back in February when it was called The B Team. The film is an action comedy directed by Adam McKay (Anchorman, Talladega Nights) and written by Chris Henchy (Land of the Lost, Entourage).

Ferrell and Wahlberg play a team of desk-ridden cops who can’t quite compete with the real star duo of the NYPD (played by Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson).

The film also stars Michael Keaton, Eva Mendes and Steve Coogan (who will play a British villain).

McKay has stated his intention is to go for a more realistic tone as opposed to his previous, semi-surrealist comedies.

The Other Guys will hit cinemas August 2010.
