The trailer for Disney Pixar‘s Toy Story 3 has debuted online! What else could I possibly say to get you even more excited!
It was first screened in American cinemas last week during the 3D re-release of Toy Story 1 and 2.
I won’t spoil the trailer for you, so I’ll let you watch it first and then we can all talk about it afterwards. Enjoy!

That. Was. Beautiful. The sequel follows the life of the toys after their owner Andy grows up and goes to college.
Toy Story 1 and 2 hold a special place in my heart (like every Pixar film) and it’s great to finally see what we are going to be dealing with in this sequel.
It seems Pixar aren’t trying to accentuate the laughs-per-minute over the emotional core of the story here, which is refreshing. I mean, how heartbreaking was that opening montage?
Although we don’t know for sure that Toy Story 3 is going to be a winner, I think we can feel fairly confident. After all, Toy Story 2 was leaps and bounds better than its already-brilliant predecessor. Consider how the quality decreased throughout each subsequent Shrek sequel, and it becomes clear just how masterful the team at Pixar are in contrast to their competitors at DreamWorks.
Toy Story 3 is directed by Lee Unkrich and was written by Academy Award winning screenwriter Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine). It opens in Australian cinemas June 24, 2010. The local 3D re-release of Toy Story 1 and 2 will play for a limited engagement, beginning January 21, 2010.
Discuss: Tell me you’re not excited for this. No, LOOK ME IN THE EYES and say that!
Lookin' good!
