New Inception trailer to change lives; cure disease

You would think that the latest trailer for Christopher Nolan‘s Inception featured the greatest two-and-a-half minutes of footage ever compiled, based on the rapturous online reaction. Frankly, it’s hard to disagree.

Is it unfair to heap such hyperbolic praise solely on a film’s trailer? Does it raise expectations to an almost impossible to reach height?

Eh, whatever.

This trailer is unbearably incredible. (Thanks TrailerAddict!)

Inception stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy, Ken Watanabe and Michael Caine.

It opens July 22, 2010. You can check out the original teaser and feature trailer here.

Discuss: Yes, the official plot synopsis for Inception has been released. But I suggest you stay away and let yourself be surprised by the film’s trajectory in July. It’s so rare to see a big blockbuster film not based on some other property.
