Alice Eve joins X-Men: First Class?

Alice Eve, the wonderful British actress who played the titular “she” in She’s Out of My League and the offensively objectified nanny in Sex and the City 2, is reportedly in talks to star as Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class.

According to Mike Fleming at Deadline, Eve is negotiating with Fox to play the dry-witted mutant telepath in Matthew Vaughn‘s reboot/prequel of the X-Men franchise.

First Class also stars James McAvoy as a young Professor Xavier, Michael Fassbender as a young Magneto and Benjamin Walker as a young Beast. Rosamund Pike, once rumoured to have screen-tested for Emma Frost, is now linked to the role of Moira McTaggert. There are also rumblings that Amber Heard might play Mystique.
