Nicholas Hoult is young Beast in X-Men: First Class

Sorry Taylor Lautner! Deadline are reporting that About A Boy star Nicholas Hoult has been cast as Beast in Matthew Vaughn‘s upcoming X-Men: First Class.

He is now the fourth major actor from the U.K. to score a role in the production. And he may not be the last if those rumours of Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass) scoring the role of Cyclops turn out to be true.

Hoult, and perhaps Johnson, join James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Alice Eve in the superhero prequel (as Professor X, Magneto and Emma Frost respectively).
