Warner Bros are intent on selling the final instalments of their decade-long Harry Potter saga as the defining cinematic event of a generation (see: epic trailer, depressing poster). It’s working.
Here are a bunch of gorgeous new pictures from Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 (click to embiggen).
It has long been known that the seventh and final book in J.K. Rowling’s wizard saga would be split into two pictures. We now know at which point Part One will end: the conclusion of Chapter 24. This means that Part Two will be primarily comprised of the battle at Hogwarts (and that Epilogue).

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One, directed by David Yates and starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, arrives in Australian cinemas November 18th. Part Two hits cinemas July 2011. If you have not already explained the concept of death to your children, you have less than a year to do so.
