The team behind Alexandra Aja‘s Piranha 3D have decided to reposition their film’s marketing strategy at the last minute! Instead of promoting it as a cartoonish horror film with 3D nudity and gore, they’ve decided to sell it as a prestige picture worthy of Oscar glory (with the help of the Academy Award campaign gurus at Funny or Die).
