Animal Kingdom screenwriter and director David Michôd took home the top prizes at the 43rd Annual Australian Writers’ Guild AWGIE Awards over the weekend. He walked away with the Major AWGIE and the AWGIE for Feature Film Screenplay (Original).
Robert Connolly and David Williamson were awarded the AWGIE for Feature Film Screenplay (Adapted) for their work on Balibo.
Glen Dolman, writer of Hawke, won the AWGIE for Telemovie (Original).
Head on over to Inside Film to see the full list of winners.
