Chloe Moretz to star as Emily The Strange

Chloe Moretz (Kick-Ass, Let Me In) is attached to star as Emily the Strange in the film adaptation of the much-loved, umm, sticker.

The Emily the Strange character was created by Rob Reger for his clothing line company Cosmic Debris in 1993. Although she began life as a sticker, the character has since expanded into stationary and fashion accessories.

Emily the Strange received her own comic series in 2001 through Dark Horse. According to Deadline, Universal have acquired the rights to the Dark Horse series, and want the talented young Moretz to bring Emily to life.
