Trailer Debut: The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence)

The first teaser trailer for The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) has debuted online. And believe it or not, it’s safe for work! Of course, when the actual trailer featuring footage of the 12 links of the new Human Centipede debuts, it’ll be surely marked NSFW.

For those of you who don’t believe that a promotional clip for The Human Centipede could be anything other than horrifying, here is a brief synopsis of the (relatively) innocent events that occur in the teaser: Dutch director Tom Six walks towards the camera as a British voice-over (claiming to be Six, which is weird) lets us know how crazy and intense the sequel to the instant cult classic will be. He then introduces us to the star of the film – with a cardboard box over his head.

The trailer comes from IFC, who will also distribute the film in the United States. Check out their interview with Six about the sequel here.

I spoke to Six earlier in the month about his monstrous creation. Here is what he had to say about Full Sequence:

“I just finished shooting. We filmed it in London and it’s going to be a human centipede of twelve people, and Part One will really be My Little Pony compared to Part Two, because Part Two is going to be really nasty. I had so many ideas which I couldn’t all put in Part One, because at first I wanted the audience to get used to this sick idea. And now that they’re used to it I can go full force. So it’s going to be pretty amazing. It’s going to be 100% medically inaccurate.”

The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) arrives in 2011. In the meantime, you can catch The Human Centipede (First Sequence) on DVD and Blu-ray from October 13, 2010.
