A bunch of impressive actors are in talks to join Wes Anderson‘s upcoming project Moon Rise Kingdom.
According to Deadline, Bruce Willis, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton and Anderson-regular Bill Murray are all considering major roles in the director’s 1960’s-set project.
The film will reportedly tell the story of “two young adults [who] fall in love and run away”. The aforementioned actors will play various members of a New England town who try to locate them (head on over to Deadline for more spoilerific character descriptions).
When we last discussed the project (back when it was called Moonrise Kingdom), it was revealed that Anderson was looking for a boy and a girl aged twelve for the lead roles. Are these the “young adults”?
Moon Rise Kingdom – penned by Anderson and Roman Coppola – is gearing up for a mid-2011 shoot.
Discuss: Do these actors seem like a good fit for an Anderson film?
