Aronofsky reveals title of his Wolverine sequel

Although Darren Aronofsky hasn’t officially been announced as director of Wolverine 2, we’ve got enough information to assume as much. Hugh Jackman has confirmed it, Aronofsky’s Black Swan DOP Matthew Libatique has revealed he is working on it, and now the director himself has gone to the trouble of naming the new film.

In an interview with Hitfix, Aronofsky unveiled the real title of Wolverine 2. It has been christened: The Wolverine.

Aronofsky also shared with Hitfix that The Wolverine would not be a conventional sequel, and will instead by a stand-alone film.
