Tomorrow When The War Began victorious at IF Awards

Tomorrow When The War Began has proven to be the most popular Australian movie of the year after taking home four major prizes at the 2010 Kodak Inside Film Awards.

Stuart Beattie‘s adaptation of John Marsden’s young adult novel picked up Best Film, Best Actress, Best Script and Best Music.

Animal Kingdom-helmer David MichĂ´d was named Best Director, and his star Ben Mendelsohn nabbed the Best Actor award.

Jacki Weaver – currently courting Oscar buzz for her supporting performance in Animal Kingdom – was pipped in the Best Actress category by TWTWB’s Caitlin Stasey.

The winners of the IF Awards are selected by votes from the general public.
