>That headline kind of sums it up, but an extended trailer for Greg Mottola‘s sci-fi comedy Paul has debuted online.
Paul stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (who also penned the screenplay) as a couple of sci-fi geeks who meet an alien on the way to Area 51.
Seth Rogen gave a motion-captured performance as the eponymous extra-terrestrial, and provided his extremely recognisable voice for the cheeky alien. The film also stars Kristen Wiig, Jason Bateman, Sigourney Weaver, Bill Hader and Jane Lynch.
The first teaser we saw was chirpy, if a little light on jokes. This new trailer – highlighting more of the FBI agents on Paul’s tail – gives us a better glimpse at the picture’s sense of humour. Yes, it’s juvenile, but hey, sometimes we need a naked alien joke to make our lives seem a little bit brighter.

Paul arrives in Australian cinemas April 14, 2011.
Discuss: Is the humour a little too juvenile for a project with so many intelligent comedic talents?
>You know what? After the all the disaster sci-fi with 'bad' aliens and hot chicks…Strange little grey cracking jokes? No leading 'babe' in sight? Hell yeah. Bring it on!
>We haven't had good juvenile fun for adults in long time, I love it!Seth's voice is perfect it's so unexpected.
