>First look at X-Men: First Class

>The L.A. Times’ Hero Complex blog has given us our first official look at Matthew Vaughn‘s upcoming superhero prequel X-Men: First Class, featuring Michael Fassbender as Magneto and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier.

X-Men: First Class takes place in the 1960s, and follows many of our favourite X-people in their younger years. Among the new pictures includes a glimpse of ‘the new class’, including Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert and Nicholas Hoult as Beast.

Also, here’s a pic of ice-queen January Jones as ice-queen Emma Frost, alongside Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw.

Head on over to the L.A. Times to read their full article, which includes an interview with Vaughn. X-Men: First Class arrives in Australian cinemas June, 2011.

Discuss: Do these pictures meet your unreasonably high expectations?
