The Last Airbender, Sex and the City 2 big "winners" at Razzie awards

As Tinsel Town gathers today to pat themselves on the back for a job well done – as though million dollar pay cheques aren’t reward enough – the annual Razzie Awards have brought a few Hollywood stars down a peg or two by naming and shaming the worst of the year.

Earning the title of Worst film of 2010 is the M. Night Shyamalan disaster The Last Airbender, which took home an impressive five awards, including Worst Director for Mr. Shyamalan, Worst Screenplay, Worst mis-use of 3D, and Worst Supporting Actor for Jackson Rathbone (aka Sparkly, constipated looking vampire Jasper in The Twilight Saga films).

The film that critics hated but women flocked to see – Sex and the City 2 – picked up Worst Actress for our four leading ladies as well as Worst Ensemble and Worst Prequel, Rip-Off or Sequel, yet not a mention of Worst Poster Art and overuse of Photoshop to make Sarah Jessica Parker look like some sort of freaky she-bot.

Though last year Sandra Bullock famously accepted a Razzie and an Oscar in the same week it seems most of the Hollywood elite don’t care to admit to their disastrous film choices and will instead be turning up to Oscar’s red carpet pretending they were never involved in films like Valentine’s Day or convincing themselves that people like Ashton Kutcher can, in fact, act.

And the full list of winners (or losers if you’re a glass half empty kind of person) of the 31st annual Razzie Awards are – drum roll please …
