Bradley Cooper to star in The Crow?

Bradley Cooper is in talks to star as the eponymous revenge-seeking rocker in Juan Carlos Fresnadillo‘s upcoming remake of The Crow.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Limitless star met with director Fresnadillo in Spain, where “the two hit it off and shared a vision for the character and the film”.

Beginning life as a comic by James O’Barr, The Crow was first made into a film by Alex Proyas in 1993. During production, star Brandon Lee was accidentally killed in a freak accident. The picture became a cult classic and was followed by a string of direct-to-video sequels.

Studio Relativity is intent on bringing this reboot to the screens as quickly as possible.

  1. gah!!! nooooo!!!! the first 2 Crows were awesome… then they were just lame…. i dont think i could stand another crappy crow

  2. As much as I like Bradley Cooper this just has disaster written all over it. I doubt anyone will be able to live up to the brilliance of Brandon Lee.

  3. NOOOOOOO!!!!! The Crow is one movie they should leave alone. It is Brandon Lee’s final movie, therefore it should not be remade. How would Bradley Cooper’s family feel if the movie he died in was remade? This is the worst idea ever.

  4. What is it with Hollywood and their insistence on remaking classic films? Does nobody have any original ideas of their own anymore? Hollywood needs to stop screwing with film history and leave the classics alone!
