Ryan Gosling WON’T be The Lone Ranger

Remember how yesterday we mentioned that Ryan Gosling was in talks to star as The Lone Ranger opposite Johnny Depp‘s Tonto in Gore Verbinski‘s upcoming adaptation of the serial hero? Well, never mind.

Gosling’s rep told Entertainment Weekly that he will not star as The Lone Ranger (which was suspected, as his dance card looked particularly packed).

Anyway, it was nice to dream.
