If you’re harbouring an inner-sociopath, Horrible Bosses looks to be the escapist fantasy for you! The trailer for the comedy has debuted online, and it promises a hilarious – if perhaps a little evil – time at the cinema.
Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis star as three beleaguered fellows tired of their bosses shenanigans. For Bateman, it’s a shark-like slave-driver (Kevin Spacey); Day must contend with a sexually aggressive dentist (Jennifer Aniston); Sudeikis, meanwhile, is forced to do the dirty work of his discriminatory employer (a fat, balding Colin Farrell). They recruit a hitman (Jamie Foxx) to help them take out their bosses once and for all.
Directed by Seth Gordon (The King of Kong), Horrible Bosses is one of a number of raunchy comedies competing for audience’s attention this year. How it will fare against Bridesmaids, Friends With Benefits, Bad Teacher and, the juggernaut, The Hangover Part 2, is hard to say.

Horrible Bosses arrives in Australian cinemas August 4, 2011.
How great does this movie look? Love the idea guys. Yes I can relate to the movie. I can count on two fingers how many good bosses I had in 35 years!
I think the best thing anybody could do prior to seeing this film is hire or buy a copy of “Office Space” on dvd. Mike Judge’s film is a must-see for anybody who ever had to work in a cube-farm and features one of the most irritating bosses ever to appear on film – Lumbergh. Coincidentally, stars Jennifer Aniston in a supporting role.
I might give “Horrible Bosses” a chance but I doubt it will compare to the genius of Office Space.
