Earlier this week we celebrated the first teaser for The Muppets, which jokingly began as the trailer for a schmaltzy romcom called Green With Envy before ultimately revealing that it featured Jim Henson’s creations. Another fake-out trailer from the Disney production has found its way online, spoofing the teaser for The Hangover Part II.
Riffing on The Hangover’s claim that ‘The Wolfpack is Back’, this new clip invites you to say hello to ‘The Fuzzy Pack’. Although the footage itself is mostly in slow-motion and recycled from Green With Envy, the use of critics’ quotes is brilliant and the celebrity cameo at the end is a cracker.

The Muppets stars, well, The Muppets, as well as Jason Segel (who also penned the screenplay), Amy Adams and Chris Cooper. James Bobin (Flight of the Conchords) directs. It arrives in cinemas this December.

Green With Envy wins hands down! But even a slightly sub-par trailer cannot dampen my excitement for this film 🙂
