The sky is falling! Well, at least the top of Gotham’s buildings are, in the newly released teaser poster for Christopher Nolan‘s The Dark Knight Rises.
It’s an understated, yet still suitably epic poster for what will surely be the biggest event release of 2012.
Christian Bale returns as Bruce Wayne/Batman, and will star opposite Tom Hardy (Bane) and Anne Hathaway (Selina Kyle/Catwoman). Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard have also joined the cast of regulars, including Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman.
The Dark Knight Rises arrives in Australian cinemas July 19, 2012.
