Trailer Debut: Glee – The 3D Concert Movie

The trailer for the upcoming Glee – The 3D Concert Movie has been released online, and as Sue Sylvester says towards the end, “Please, save your money, this thing sucks!”

With the Gleeks cover of Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ playing, the song that catapulted this teen television show into the big leagues and Top 40 charts worldwide, the trailer for this all singing, all dancing Glee extravaganza is enough to induce a migraine.

It’s clear from this short preview that it’s a fans’ (or Rock Eisteddfod lovers) only affair. From the Warblers’ A Capella backstage, to Lea Michele’s psycho-eyes vocal warm up, the film offers a glimpse at backstage life while touring Glee Live! In Concert! around America, as well as showcasing some finely choreographed musical numbers.

As with Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never 3D romp, fans will flock to the cinemas for this film’s limited run. It arrives in cinemas August 11, 2011.
