The first official image of Charlize Theron in Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody’s upcoming collaboration, Young Adult, has debuted online.
Theron stars as Mavis Gary, an unsympathetic ghost writer who heads to her hometown to rediscover her identity, and in the process tries to steal her former high school boyfriend (Patrick Wilson) away from his happily married existence.
Jason Reitman does not think you’ll like it very much.
Director Reitman and screenwriter Cody previously worked together on the 2009 Oscar winner Juno.
Young Adult also stars Patton Oswalt. It arrives in U.S. cinemas late December, with an Australian release to follow in the new year.
