Trailer Debut: Carnage

Last week we featured the great – albeit, nausea inducing – poster for Roman Polanski’s Carnage, based on the acclaimed French stage play God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza, and starring Jodie FosterKate WinsletChristoph Waltz and John C. Reilly. Now, take a look at its intense, hilarious, and yes, nausea-inducing trailer.

The film concerns two sets of parents who meet to discuss an altercation between their children in the schoolyard. Although the adults begin conversing in a respectable manner, communication breaks down in spectacular fashion.

It’s Winslet and Waltz vs Foster and Reilly in a no-holds-barred conversational death-match! Guess which one of them throws up first. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. (Warning: some mild coarse language.)

Carnage will debut at the Venice International Film Festival, with an Australian release to follow.

Discuss: Who ya got?
