Ben Affleck to write and direct first-person shooter

Ben Affleck is attached to a new first-person action film entitled Line of Sight. As has become something of a trend for the Oscar-winner, he will both direct and star in the pic.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, F. Scott Frazer’s script follows “an elite commando squad on a secret mission”. What is unique about the project is that it will take on a first-person POV, not unlike a videogame shooter (Halo: Reach writer Peter O’Brien recently retooled the screenplay).

Affleck will begin production on Line of Sight following the completion of his new directorial effort Argo, in which he also stars.
