Poster Debut: Paranormal Activity 3

The official poster for Paranormal Activity 3 – which is actually a prequel to the first two films – has debuted online. Weirdly, there doesn’t seem to be anything scary happening in … oh my God, what is that shadow?!

If the first film tried to make you afraid of sleeping with your partner, and the second spooked you out of keeping your baby’s crib in a separate room, the third seems intent on terrifying children who have to share their bedroom with a sibling.

Set in 1988, Paranormal Activity 3 looks to reveal the traumatic childhood events of sisters Katie and Kristi, who we saw haunted (and possessed) as adults in instalments one and two.

It was revealed in May that Catfish helmers Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost would direct PA3, and that PA2 scripter Christopher P. Landon would pen the flick. Director of the original film,Oren Peli, once again returns as producer.
