Trailer Debut: Contraband

The trailer for Mark Wahlberg‘s Contraband has debuted online, featuring Marky Mark as a retired smuggler forced to get back into the game for one. last. job.

So, it’s not going to win any awards for originality, but Contraband has a few intriguing elements going for it.

Firstly, it’s been helmed by Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur, who previously delivered the acclaimed dramedy 101 Reykjavík and the hit Jar City.

Secondly, it features a nifty supporting cast, including J.K. Simmons, Ben Foster and Diego Luna. (Kate Beckinsale and Giovanni Ribisi also star…)
