Jason Statham is rumoured to be in conversations with Universal Pictures about starring in either one or both of the two upcoming Fast and Furious sequels.
According to Twitch, the studio is currently scouting locations in Europe for a back-to-back shoot of both Fast Six and Fast Seven in 2012.
Before you start shaving your heads in wild anticipation, Twitch reminds us that Stat’s involvement is far from a sure thing. Statham does indeed seem like the perfect fit for this franchise though.
Director Justin Lin is committed to both films; so much so, he had to walk away from Terminator 5 because of his busy schedule.
Fast Six arrives in cinemas May 2013.
