Toy Story writers penning Farmville movie

A film based on the social media sensation Farmville may be in the works, with the Oscar nominated screenwriters of Toy Story, Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow, attached.

In an interview with IGN, the pair revealed that they will continue to make movies, despite have recently worked on the game Spyro’s Adventures.

“So, yes, we will continue writing movies. We are also working on several new and very exciting opportunities. We’re in conversations with Zynga to do something with one of their brands. Can’t really say too much on that front yet, but ‘Old MacDonald’ didn’t have a factory, if you get our drift.”

Before you get carried away by Cohen and Sokolow’s Toy Story connection, consider their more recent credits: Daddy Day Camp, Evan Almighty, Walter the Farting Dog

  2. Humanity, you keep finding new ways to disappoint me…
