Dude looks like a lady in the newly released trailer for Albert Nobbs, which stars Glenn Close as a woman who poses as a man in 19th century Ireland.
Based on George Moore’s short story, Close previously starred in a theatrical adaptation of the tale back in 1982, and has spent the past 15 years trying to bring it to the big screen.
As the trailer reminds us, Close is a 5-time Oscar nominee. No doubt she’ll be in contention to bring home the gold with this risky performance.

Albert Nobbs, co-written by Close and directed by Rodrigo Garcia, also stars Mia Wasikowska, Aaron Johnson and Brendan Gleeson. It arrives in cinemas next year.
I’m not going to touch the jokes about how easy it is for Glenn Close to play a man…
