Bad Teacher has undeniably been one of the surprise success stories of the year; made for only $20 million, the Cameron Diaz-led pic grossed almost $215 million worldwide.
A new report from Deadline says the creative heads behind the film – director Jake Kasdan, and screenwriters Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg – Â “haven’t made progress on mounting a sequel”, but will re-team for another comedy instead.
Currently untitled, the picture follows a Supercuts manager who tells a friend to break off their engagement, and subsequently falls in love with their BFF’s dumped partner.
Stupnitsky and Eisenberg also penned Ghostbusters III, which, let’s face it, will never get made.
