The creative team behind Forgetting Sarah Marshall have reunited for the new romantic comedy The Five-Year Engagement. Check out the first trailer after the jump.
The film follows the – you guessed it – five-year engagement of Tom (Jason Segel) and Victoria (Emily Blunt), as the duo navigates the highs and lows of their relationship, as well as the cultural differences between their families.
There’s plenty of reason to anticipate any film written by Segel and director Nicholas Stoller (see also: The Muppets), but the supporting cast is also worth getting excited over. Australia’s own Jacki Weaver plays Victoria’s mother, and she’s joined by the very funny Alison Brie, Chris Pratt, Rhys Ifans and many more.

The Five-Year Engagement arrives in Australian cinemas May 17, 2012.
