20th Century Fox has closed a deal with X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn to helm the sequel to their hit superhero reboot, Deadline reports.
The announcement comes off the back of the news of Fox production president Emma Watts’ having her contract extended until 2015.
As previously reported, Simon Kinberg will pen the untitled X-Men sequel and Bryan Singer will produce once again. It is assumed the cast, including Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, will all return.
