A cavalcade of stars (sorry; that’s a silly phrase) are set to appear in a new film from the creator of Glee and director of Eat, Pray, Love, Ryan Murphy.
According to Deadline, Sony has paid seven-figures to secure Murphy’s pitch for One Hit Wonders.
The project would feature the stunning starlets Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz, and Beyoncé Knowles. Also, Andy Samberg.
Paltrow, Witherspoon, and Diaz would play three singers who, after each releasing a one-hit-wonder in the 1990s, see their careers go down the gurgler. They eventually form a supergroup (with music penned by Samberg and his Lonely Island buddies).
Murphy will co-write with his Glee collaborators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
