Kristen Wiig to star in action comedy from Descendants scribes

Kristen Wiig is set to star in a new action comedy from the Oscar winning screenwriters of The Descendants, Variety reports.

Nat Faxon and Jim Rash (Dean Pelton from Community!) have sold an original pitch to Indian Paintbrush with Wiig attached as the lead.

There are no further details at this point, but the players involved have us excited alone.

Wiig received her first Oscar nomination earlier this year, for co-writing the script to Bridesmaids.
