Downton Abbey star Jessica Brown Findlay (rebellious Lady Sybil!) is set to star in Akiva Goldsman’s upcoming adaptation of Winter’s Tale, Deadline reports.
The film marks Oscar winning screenwriter Goldsman’s first effort behind the camera.
Based on the novel by Mark Helprin, it tells of a dying woman who falls for a thief.
Warner Bros is considering Aaron Johnson and Garrett Hedlund for the role of the criminal who steals Findlay’s heart.
Previous Goldsman collaborators Russell Crowe and Will Smith are rumoured to have small roles in the flick.

I don’t know it, but she was great over here as the lead in the second ‘Black Mirror’ and was also good in Misfits.
