The trailer for Woody Allen‘s recently retitled Italian adventure To Rome With Love has arrived online, displaying a stark change of direction for the famed writer-director. Kidding!
Allen fans will find much to love here, from the presence of neurotic Woody himself, to the young supporting cast of Jesse Eisenberg, Greta Gerwig, Ellen Page, and Alison Pill (performers seemingly born to deliver his heightened dialogue).
His previous collaborators, Penelope Cruz and Judy Davis, also appear, as does Roberto Benigni and Alec Baldwin.
The film, seemingly told from the vantage point of a traffic cop, follows a variety of interweaving love stories in Italy’s capital.
