After years of rumours, a sequel to Sin City is officially in the works.
The announcement was made via press release (courtesy of Slashfilm), as opposed to director Robert Rodriguez‘s traditional method, which is by speaking off the cuff and making up posters for things that never actually eventuate.
Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will be helmed by Rodriguez and Miller, and much of the original cast are expected to return. The screenplay has been written by Miller and Oscar winner William Monahan (The Departed).
Assume it’ll be in 3D.
