Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone might reunite with their Crazy, Stupid, Love directors for a new comedy called Focus.
According to Deadline, writer-directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa have set up the project at Warner Bros, and they hope to draft their former stars for the new tale.
The picture tells of a veteran con-man who gets romantically entangled with a fairly green grifter.
It’s worth noting that Stone played something of a con-artist in Zombieland.
Gosling and Stone’s chemistry elevated Crazy, Stupid, Love above typical rom-com fare, so any hint of their reteaming is worth getting excited over. They next star together in Gangster Squad.
Discuss: Is this a duo you’re glad to see collaborate again and again?
