Tom Cruise is attached to star in a new Van Helsing movie, scripted by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Star Trek, Transformers).
According to Variety, the project is part of a new two-year deal Kurtzman and Orci signed at Universal.
They are now also involved in the studio’s remake of The Mummy.
Cruise will produce the Van Helsing project, though other details on the project are scarce.
Hugh Jackman last played the vampire-hunter on the big screen in 2004’s flop of the same name.
