The first poster for the upcoming film based on Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace, played by Amanda Seyfried, has been released by Latino-Review.
The poster disappointingly comes across as bland and a touch predictable. It’s hard to tell what kind of movie Lovelace actually is, but we can probably expect something on the serious and unconventional side from directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, who previously gave us the ambitious Allan Ginsberg film, Howl.
Featuring a dream supporting cast, we’ll see Peter Sarsgaard, James Franco (as Hugh Hefner no less), Hank Azaria, Chloe Sevigny, Sharon Stone, Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Noth, Eric Roberts, and our favourite liquid metal terminator, Robert Patrick.
Lovelace is the first of two biopics on the infamous 70s porn star coming out over the next 12 months, the other titled Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story with Malin Akerman taking the titular role (though Akerman herself is dubious the project will ever eventuate).
Discuss: Did we even need one Linda Lovelace biopic in the first place?
