The remake of Italian horror classic Suspiria has found its star in Hunger Games and Orphan actor Isabelle Fuhrman, Variety reports.
Fuhrman played knife-loving, nasty girl Clove in Hunger Games and she now will get the headline role in David Gordon Green‘s (Your Highness, Pineapple Express) weirdly ambitious yet ultimately unnecessary remake of the Dario Argento classic from 1977.
Green is pulling together an interesting cast that will also include Isabelle Huppert, Janet McTeer (Albert Nobbs), Michael Nyqvist (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo), and Antje Traue (a German actress who stars in the upcoming Superman reboot, Man Of Steel).
At the ripe old age of 15, Furhman is really becoming a name to watch. She is currently shooting M. Night Shyamalan‘s potential disaster After Earth and we’ll be keeping a close eye on this strange remake project.
