Emma Watson is in talks to join Darren Aronofsky‘s biblical epic Noah, Deadline reports.
The long-gestating pic will feature Russell Crowe as the man behind the ark.
The Harry Potter star would play Ila, a young lady who develops a close relationship with Noah’s son Shem (Douglas Booth). Here’s the kicker: according to Genesis, Shem was 99 at the time of the flood. Talk about a May-December romance!
Logan Lerman has been cast as Noah’s other son Ham. The roles of Noah’s wife and his nemesis are yet to be set.
