Well, at least it’s not based on a board game!
Warner Bros has begun work on a film adaptation of the annual Guinness Book of World Records, proving once and for all that no brand name or property is out of Hollywood’s grasp.
Details are scarce, but it’s reported by Deadline that the book will be used as a basis for an action-adventure film scripted by The Office‘s Danny Chun.
I’d much prefer a Guinness World Records documentary following people who give up their lives to set a record and looking at past and present record holders and why they go/went that far. But of course they’re going to make it a scripted action film…
