Transformers: Dark of the Moon star and Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has scored a role in George Miller‘s long delayed Mad Max sequel Fury Road.
According to Deadline, Huntington-Whiteley will play “one of the five wives” in the picture; we’re not exactly sure what that means, but we’re hoping ‘the five wives’ are a group of dangerous, revenge-seekers a’la the titular, vengeance-fuelled widower.
Tom Hardy has long been set to play Max, while Charlize Theron recently shaved her head for a starring role in the feature.
Concerned about Huntington-Whiteley acting talents? Well, she was a part of Paramount’s 100-year anniversary shoot, which showcased the 116 best talents ever to work at the studio. So… there.
Mad Max: Fury Road begins shooting in Africa – hopefully – next month.
Discuss: Glad to see Huntington-Whiteley build her on-screen career?
Ha!
“showcased the 116 best talents ever to work at the studio”
To me the lin-up looks like a bit of a best-of, a bit of ‘hey, who’s on the studio today’ and a bit of ‘whose agent is pushing for them to get greater exposure or has a dvd/film release pending’
such a hodge-podge of a photoshop photoshoot really.
